What first ignited your passion for data and analytics, and how did that path evolve into your role as a People Analytics Senior Manager at Allstate?
I've always enjoyed the challenge of turning complexity into something clear and meaningful. Early in my career, that curiosity led me into lean transformation and business process improvement, where I saw firsthand how powerful data can be in guiding better decisions. Over time, I found myself naturally gravitating toward analytics — not just to report information, but to improve how work gets done and create better outcomes for people. That blend of curiosity, problem-solving, and a drive to build something better is what ultimately led me to Allstate and to my role in People Analytics. My love of data even bleeds into my personal life — I build spreadsheet based marathon training plans, and I'm completely dependent on the metrics from my Garmin and Strava apps to guide my running.
How does your team's work fit into Allstate's global product and operating model, and what kind of problems do you solve through data every day?
Our team plays a key role in enabling Allstate's global product and operating model by translating complex people data into clear, actionable insights for leaders. We build scalable analytics products that give visibility into workforce health — from turnover and capacity to onboarding, mobility, and engagement — and we're about to launch AI-enabled tools that will further support HR experts as they help business areas meet their people needs. Day to day, we partner closely with Organisational Talent Advisors to help them understand patterns, identify risks, and make informed, consistent decisions across the enterprise. At the core, our work equips HR and people leaders with the clarity they need to lead effectively and drive both performance and a better employee experience.
Allstate talks a lot about "tech with purpose." How does the work you do in data and analytics help protect customers or make life easier for employees across the business?
In People Analytics, 'tech with purpose' means using data to create better experiences for both employees and the customers they support. The products we build give HR and people leaders clear, timely insight into areas like performance, turnover, capacity, and onboarding effectiveness — helping them remove barriers, support their teams, and create the conditions for high‑quality work. Even though our work sits behind the scenes, the impact is very real: by making work simpler, smarter, and more human through data and AI, we ultimately strengthen the way Allstate protects and cares for the people who rely on us.
What's a skill or mindset that has been essential to your success in analytics, and how does Allstate support your continued learning and career growth?
One skill that's been essential to my success in analytics is maintaining a growth-oriented mindset — always asking why something is happening, not just what the data shows. That curiosity helps me connect the dots, see patterns, and translate complex insights into something actionable. Allstate, and my leaders, have really supported that mindset by giving me and my team the space to experiment with new tools, invest in capability building, and learn from colleagues across ATS and HR. Whether it's exposure to AI-enabled products, access to learning resources, or opportunities to lead meaningful work, People Analytics leadership actively encourages continual development and helps me keep stretching both my technical skills and my strategic thinking.
What makes Allstate a great place for someone who wants to drive change through data — and what keeps you excited to come to work?

Through ALLIE, there's a strong focus on creating the conditions for AI-led transformation, scale, and innovation — which makes it an exciting environment for anyone passionate about analytics. What keeps me motivated is the impact: knowing that the work we do in People Analytics helps leaders understand their teams more deeply, solve meaningful problems, and create an environment where people can do their best work. Motivation also comes from fellow Allstaters, I get to work with some brilliant people, and I'm proud to lead a team that's always trying out new tools and approaches to make things better for our employees — and in turn, our customers!
