Allstate was proud to be named a finalist at the UK Digital Revolution Awards, shortlisted for Digital Transformation Project of the Year. Women in STEM Hackathon: Break the Pattern

Allstate hosted the Women in STEM Hackathon: Break the Pattern in the Belfast office, co-organised with Ulster University and Queen's societies, BCS, and the Chartered Institute for IT NI. Seven teams tackled barriers for women in tech. Team Siren won the Community Impact Award (£750) for an AI tool. Huge congratulations to all participants!

Empower Girls 2026

Allstate colleagues volunteered at Empower Girls 2026 at ICC Belfast, engaging 700 Year 8 students through hands-on STEM activities using LEGO kits, a Kudo Robot and the Cyber Sam wheel. Lorraine Warren also joined a panel, sharing her pathway into tech and inspiring future women in STEM.

Elevate NI FinTech & Professional Services Programme

Allstate supported Elevate NI for a third year, helping Belfast Met learners build inclusive pathways into FinTech and professional services. During an immersive work experience week, students met Allstaters, toured our office and presented solutions to leaders. We also donated laptops to every participant, supporting ongoing learning and confidence.

Early Tech Talent Meet-Up: Breaking In & Breaking Through

Allstate founded Early Tech Talent launched its 2026 series with "Breaking In & Breaking Through" at First Derivative's Belfast office. Delivered by the new Software NI Early Career Board, the meet up connected early career professionals through mentoring insights, advice on imposter syndrome, and value of getting involved in the tech community.

Five Years of Impact: Allstate & Women's Aid Partnership

Allstate marked the close of its five-year corporate partnership with Women's Aid Federation NI, celebrating a collaboration that supported women and children through campaigns, therapeutic initiatives and more than 600 volunteer hours. The partnership introduced Safe Leave, expanded translated resources, and raised over £500,000 for lasting impact.

Allstate attended the NI Chamber President's Banquet at ICC Belfast, joining business leaders and sporting icons for an evening spotlighting Northern Ireland's global golfing potential. Allstate achieved Platinum in Business in the Community's Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey, recognised as the ICT sector leader for sustainability. The result reflected strong environmental governance, waste and procurement practices, supplier standards, climate training, and robust greenhouse-gas measurement and reduction targets.

Allstate Future Innovators Coding Competition (North West)

Allstate celebrated winners of the inaugural Allstate Future Innovators Coding Competition in Derry, recognising pupils' block-coding projects promoting road safety. The competition formed part of the North West Digital Hub, supported by a £30,000 Allstate Foundation grant and delivered with PSNI, Software NI, BITC and local educators.
