Christina Bates is the Chief Financial Officer of Allstate Northern Ireland and heads up the team which runs the financial processes of the company. She is also a member of the Executive Committee and Senior Management team and presents at the Allstate NI Board meetings.
Christina has BA in Human Sciences from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. She has been a qualified chartered accountant since 1994.
She trained with Ernst and Young in Belfast and worked there for 8 years prior to moving to Allstate in 2000.
The ANI Finance team are responsible for all the financial processes, transactions, policies and financial data, to run the business of Allstate Northern Ireland. They are responsible for statutory audit and reporting, management reporting, tax compliance and reporting, financial decision making to support the business, internal control policies & procedures, foreign currency exposure management, operational accounting (including payroll, the sales invoice process, accounts payable process, cash management), budgeting/forecasting and improvement of Finance systems.
