Cybersecurity Reskilling Program: Niall Mullan

I started my career with a Human Resources Placement during university within Allstate, and returned into the Talent Acquisition Team as a Consultant shortly after graduating from University of Ulster with a Human Resource Management Degree.

During my tenure I looked after the recruitment for the ATSC and some other business areas along the way. I had a personal interest within Cybersecurity and always found it fascinating, so when the Cybersecurity Re-skilling became available it was a no brainer, and I felt (after a lot of thought) it was the right choice.

A tough 12 weeks followed, from a non-technical background and minimal knowledge, to then studying and passing exams like the CISMP and Security+ Qualifications successfully. Now, kickstarting my career in Cyber Data Visualization within the Deputy CISO Analytics team, I have felt a new wind in my career and excited to apply what I have learned and develop my career.
