Looking back, what pivotal moment shaped your professional path?
Early in my career, I was fortunate to step into a full stack role. It gave me exposure to a wide range of technologies and challenges, which helped me build strong problem-solving skills and a broader understanding of how systems fit together. It also helped me figure out what I enjoyed most — whether that was front-end development, backend architecture, or something in between. That experience shaped how I approach engineering today and gave me the confidence to explore new areas.
How does the digital product model influence your day-to-day work?
It's a massive enabler. Being part of a cross-functional team with all the necessary skill sets — from design and data to engineering and product — means we can move quickly and build with purpose. We're not working in silos or waiting on handoffs. Instead, we're solving problems together, sharing ideas, and learning from each other. That kind of setup fosters creativity, accountability, and momentum. It's a model that really works.
What's one innovation or idea you've helped bring to life here?
One that stands out recently is leading the rollout of a copilot to 20,000 users. Guiding the team to leverage GenAI at that scale meant balancing innovation with trust — making sure people had confidence in adopting this new assistant. It was a chance to model the mindset needed to make AI real in the enterprise. Since then, I've pushed further into exploring agentic use cases, with the aim of redefining how our engineering ecosystems operate and expanding what's possible. For me, it's about more than delivery — it's about growth, learning, and stretching the boundaries of what tech can do for us. (And yes, while we were figuring it all out there were jokes that "AI" stood for Adam's Intelligence… thankfully, I'm still here thinking for another day.)
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in tech?
Don't be too hard on yourself. Tech is evolving faster than ever, and it's easy to feel like you're constantly playing catch-up. But if you stay curious, ask questions, and back yourself, you'll find your way. Everyone's journey is different, and that's okay. Focus on building good habits, learning from those around you, and staying open to new challenges. You'll be sweet.
